Book Of Kells Receives Over 1m Visitors For First Time In One Year

More than a million people have visited Trinity College's Book of Kells and Old Library Exhibition for the time ever in one year.

The renowned Irish tourist attraction's one millionth visitor in 2018 was American tourist Cassie Clemans, who was visiting Ireland with her husband Andy to celebrate their 20th anniversary, reports The Irish Independent.

An Interest "In All Things Book Related"

Explaining her interest in the Books of Kells and Old Library Exhibition, Clemans said, "My husband and I were sure to make this part of our itinerary in Dublin as we own a bookshop in Bend and we are very interested in all things book related."
