Business As Usual For Shannon Airport Ahead Of Vice President Pence's Visit

Shannon Airport has said that it will be business as usual at the airport during US Vice President Mike Pence's visit to Ireland.

A spokesperson for the group made the announcement, and has also warned passengers to allow for more travel time.

Passengers travelling to the airport are being advised to allow an additional 15 minutes extra travel time for the duration of the vice president's visit.

The airline company is advising over additional security measures, which will be in place around the airport and car parks from 12pm today (September 2) until 12pm on Wednesday (September 4).

"If passengers have any concerns about the departure time of their flight, they are advised to contact their airline," the spokesperson said. "As always we would like to thank our valued customers for flying Shannon."
