Clare County Council is planning to spend an estimated €800,000 on the development of an integrated ticketing system for the Cliffs of Moher.

Projected Decline In Visitor Numbers

As reported by The Irish Times, the announcement of the planned ticketing system follows projections that the cliffs' visitor numbers will decline by 80% this year due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

Targeted Completion Date

The council hopes to have the ticketing systems completed and operational by March of 2021.
