Cunard Line Suspends Cruises Until 2021

Cruise company Cunard Line has extended the suspension of its cruises from November of 2020 until next year due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

Sailings of the company's Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria vessels have now been cancelled until March 25, April 18 and May 16, 2021, respectively.

Cunard President Statement

The Irish Independent quotes Cunard president Simon Palethorpe as saying, "We are so sorry to all those guests who were due to sail on any of the cancelled voyages and for the disappointment this news will cause.

"After very careful consideration and reviewing the latest guidance, we simply do not feel it would be sensible to start sailing again with our current schedule so we have reviewed future itineraries."

Affected Customers

Affected customers will automatically receive credit for a future sailing worth 125% of the cost of their original trip.
