The theme of the conference was "Reflect & Connect", focusing on what's been learnt in the past year in Irish hospitality and exploring how these lessons can be utilised in 2023 and beyond.

The conference began with a familiarisation trip hosted by Visit Cork, with a welcome reception held at Fota House, where local delicacies and drinks were served. That evening, attendees enjoyed entertainment and a gala dinner at Fota Island Resort, with a keynote address by Paul Kelly, the chief executive of Fáilte Ireland.

The next morning, AIPCO chair Nicola McGrane began the event with a welcome address. Throughout the day, discussions were held with representatives from Fáilte Ireland, SITE Ireland, ITIC (the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation) and industry leaders in business tourism.
