IAG Expects North Atlantic Traffic Back To 2019 Level This Summer

Chief executive officer of International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAGICAG.L Luis Gallego has said that he expected North Atlantic traffic to be this summer at 100% of the level of 2019.

The above news was followed by news that Luis Gallego, the chief executive of International Consolidated Airlines ICAG.L, has attributed the current chaos in many airports in Europe to the difficulty in finding staff as salary demands have increased.

"When we see the chaos that happens now in some European airports, it is related to the difficulty to find staff," he said during a business event held by newspaper Expansion in Alcala de Henares in Spain.

He said that some categories of airport workers in countries such as Britain were not attracting enough people and have to offer steep salary increases.
