Details

GTM Florida is a three-day event that involves a programme of bespoke one-to-one appointments and networking sessions, according to the statement on TourismIreland.com, which also noted that the event provides an opportunity for Irish tourism enterprises to meet and do business with travel advisors from the United States and Canada, ensuring that Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when recommending destinations to their clients.

Statement By Tourism Ireland’s Head Of North America

The statement published on TourismIreland.com included one from Tourism Ireland’s head of North America, Alison Metcalfe, in which she said, “Our presence at this year’s GTM in Florida provides another excellent platform to highlight the many great things to see and do right around the island of Ireland to influential North American travel professionals. Tourism Ireland is rolling out an extensive and targeted programme of promotions throughout 2022. Our message is that the island of Ireland is open for business again, and we cannot wait to roll out the green carpet and welcome back visitors from the United States and Canada.”
