Tourism Ireland was joined by five tourism companies from the island of Ireland in Palm Beach, Florida, for the Luxury Travel Advisors (LTA) ULTRA Summit, according to a statement published on Tourism Ireland's website.

Details

LTA ULTRA Summit is a three day, invite only event that brings together leading travel buyers who specialise in high-spend luxury travel, and involved a programme of bespoke one-to-one appointments, offering an opportunity for the tourism enterprises from Ireland to meet and do business with luxury travel buyers from the United States, according to the statement published on TourismIreland.com, which also noted that the aim was to ensure that the island of Ireland is "top of mind" for the attending luxury buyers when they recommend destinations to their clients.

Statement By Tourism Ireland's Head Of North America

The statement published on TourismIreland.com included a statement from Tourism Ireland's Head of North America, Alison Metcalfe, that said, "This week's LTA ULTRA Summit in Palm Beach, Florida, is another excellent platform for Tourism Ireland and our partners to highlight the superb luxury tourism offering available right around the island of Ireland - from our boutique hotels, castles and luxury resorts, to our rich culture and heritage, and not forgetting our world-class golf and superb culinary scene.

"Tourism Ireland is rolling out an extensive and targeted programme of promotions throughout 2022. Our message is that the island of Ireland is open for business again and we cannot wait to welcome back visitors from the United States."
