British holiday and airline group Jet2 has said that the COVID-19 pandemic pushed it into a £111.2 million loss during the six months ended that ended on September 30, and forecast an uncertain winter.
Down From A Profit
Jet2's operating loss for the half-year period compares to the £361.5 million profit it made in the year earlier before COVID-19.
Winter Seat Capacity
Jet2 said that for the current winter period it expects to fly approximately 50% of last year's seat capacity.
