Leitrim Tourism has launched a new video series in a bid to attract more visitors to the north-west of Ireland.

Details

Leitrim Tourism stated, "Leitrim has always been a busy holiday destination, but recently it has seen a considerable increase in demand for the county as Irish visitors seek out less busy destinations that offer more space, reassurance and outdoor opportunities to enjoy time together once again.

"Leitrim Tourism, who are tasked with promoting County Leitrim, launches a major new video series this week as part of a 12 month marketing campaign to capitalise on the domestic market aimed at attracting more Irish visitors to the north-west this year.

"A new 90 second hero video is launching today featuring spectacular drone footage and some of Leitrim's most iconic sights such as the walled gardens at Lough Rynn, summer adventures at Lough Allen, hiking across Bencroy on Sliabh an Iarann and Manorhamilton Castle."

Leitrim Tourism Officer Statement

Leitrim Tourism officer Sinead McDermott stated, "While the last 18 months has been a challenge for the entire tourism industry, there is now an even greater opportunity for Leitrim to capture a more substantial share of the domestic home market. We have high quality hotels and guesthouses, incredible landscapes and a world-class adventure offering. This new campaign along with our new video series will really showcase all of this, sharing our story and the uniqueness of County Leitrim with the world. With a renewed interest in holidaying at home this year and for the foreseeable future, we feel now it is Leitrim's time to shine, more so than ever."
