Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media Catherine Martin has announced a new tender for online and live-audience musical performances and related services that will be worth €1.5 million over three years, according to a statement published on Gov.ie.
Minister Martin has launched a tender to provide a series of interlinked musical performances, with both online and live audience-based events (subject to pandemic-related restrictions) to be broadcast free of charge across a variety of media (including social media), according to Gov.ie, which also stated that the contract will initially be awarded for a three-year period at the maximum available funding of €500,000 per annum, and that 70% to 80% of this funding will be provided to artists and creative workers.
The statement published on Gov.ie also noted that the tender documentation can be found at Irl.Eu-Supply.com/ctm/Publication/Forms/ViewNotice/56002, that queries about the tender can be directed to [email protected], and that emails should be titled ‘Music Services Tender Query’ to ensure a reply.
