Murphy's Stout has been awarded Best Imported Beer at the Beer and Brewers Award for a third year running.
The awards ceremony, which is held in Austrailia by Beer and Brewers Magazine, consists of 28 separate categories across the Australian and New Zealand drinks category.
Murphy's beat other well-known international brands including Brewdog 5am Saint, Duvel, Moosehead, and Stella in the Best Imported Beer category voted by the public.
It became the latest award for the brand during a successful 2013 that has seen its 'When it Rains it Pours' app win several marketing and mobile technology awards.
"We are delighted with the news from Australia, at what is an extremely competitive time in the international drinks industry" said Murphy's Assistant Brand Manager, Barry Cassidy.
"It is very heartening when the strength of the competition in this category is considered and also the fact that it is the third time in recent years that we have collected this award. We'd like to offer our thanks to our loyal customers in Australia who have voted for us again and may they continue to enjoy Murphy's long into the future."
