New Greenway Announced For Co. Kerry

A new greenway has been announced for Co. Kerry.

The new greenway will run between the towns of Glenbeigh and Cahersiveen.

"A World-Class Destination"

Welcoming the announcement of the new Glenbeigh to Cahersiveen Greenway, Kerry Hotel Federation chairperson Bernadette Randles said, "Kerry is a world-class destination and has had a positive response from the domestic tourist in 2020 during the summer months. This year has seen outdoor activities soar, and the new greenway will reinforce this offering in Kerry. We are an ideal destination for adventure tourism, and this will further copper-fasten the wholesome offering we have as a county."

"Considerable Capital Contribution"

Randles added, "It will have considerable capital contribution during construction phase estimated at €20 million, and is a lifeline to the south of Kerry for the future, and we have to be thankful to all the promoters and stakeholders in this most important project for Kerry."
