New Mural Unveiled At Titanic Belfast

A new Titanic mural was unveiled at Titanic Belfast on May 31 to mark the anniversary of when the ship was launched on May 31, 1911.

The mural was a collaboration between leading local artists Terry Bradley and Friz, and aims to attract crowds by shining a spotlight on the city’s history, as well as its contemporary art movement.

The mural is located at Titanic Belfast’s newest shipyard themed hospitality space, Hickson’s Point.

"A Great Project"

Bradley stated, "This has been a great project to be involved in with Friz. I have painted the working men of Belfast for a long time now, portraying their strength and character. I grew up in Belfast and was very aware of the wall murals around where I lived. To be able to tie in with that background but with a positive rather than political message has been very important to me as an artist."
