New Outdoor Social Space Opens In Belfast

A new outdoor social space has opened on Belfast’s Brunswick Street.

The new social space, which is called FLAXX at Linen Quarter, was developed by the Linen Quarter Business Improvement District (LQ BID) as part of a funding package through the Department for Communities Covid-19 Recovery Revitalisation Programme and delivered in partnership with the Department for Infrastructure and Belfast City Council, according to a statement published on LinenQuarter.org, which also stated that FLAXX at Linen Quarter includes a games area, outdoor seating, a performance area, and a lighting projection.

Operator And Opening Hours

Additionally, the statement published on LinenQuarter.org noted that FLAXX at Linen Quarter will be operated by the Bachus Group hospitality firm, and that the new social space will be open from Monday to Saturday between 11.30am and 11pm, and on Sunday between 12.30pm and 11pm, with its entertainment licence being valid for two years.
