Stena Line has announced that it has commenced operating its new freight-only Stena Foreteller vessel on its Rosslare to Cherbourg route.
Operating Earlier Than Originally Planned
The announcement follows last week's announcement by the company that it would commence operating the Stena Foreteller vessel on the route on January 4, 2021.
In a statement published on its website, Stena Line said that it decided to commence operating the vessel on the route earlier than originally planned due to "recent international border closures which have seriously impacted freight flows."
Freight Capacity And Frequency Of Sailings Doubled
The Stena Foreteller has joined the Stena Horizon on the route, doubling the route's freight capacity as well as the frequency of sailings on the route.
