Overseas Arrivals To Ireland Decreased 92% Year-On-Year In November

Newly-released figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) have revealed the number of people who arrived to Ireland from overseas in November decreased by 92% year-on-year to 103,900.

Arrivals Vs. Departures

As reported by The Irish Times, 35% less people arrived to Ireland from overseas in November than in October, while the number of people who departed Ireland for overseas destinations last month decreased by 92.7% year-on-year to 96,800, and 40.7% less people departed Ireland for overseas destinations in November than in October.

Air Vs. Sea

90,900, or 87.6%, of the 103,900 people who arrived to Ireland in November arrived by air and 12,900 or, 12.4%, arrived by sea, while 85,100, or 87.9%, of the 96,800 people who departed Ireland last month departed by air and 11,700 or, 12.1%, departed by sea.
