Ryanair Launches Cardiff-Dublin Service For RWC

Ryanair has launched a service between Cardiff and Dublin for the Rugby World Cup, with 25 return flights scheduled in September and October.

The seasonal flights, which have been scheduled especially for the World Cup, will provide "Welsh customers the chance to escape the rugby fever by booking a discounted flight to Dublin during the Rugby World Cup".

The Dublin flights are available to book until Thursday 20 August for travel in September and October.

“Ryanair will carry thousands of rugby fans to Wales for the World Cup – and now Welsh customers can escape the rugby fever and bag a bargain trip to Dublin this autumn," Ryanair's Robin Kiely said.

Last week, Ryanair said last week that it is aiming to take on third-party travel sites by creating a new website, which will feature price comparisons as well as offers on nearby hotel rooms and restaurants.
