Stobart Group Says Aer Lingus Regional Service Operator Stobart Air Will Be Sold By The End Of February

Stobart Group has said that current Aer Lingus Regional service operator Stobart Air will be sold by the end of February.

Original Sale Announcement Date

Stobart Group originally announced that it is selling Stobart Air as well as aircraft leasing business Propius in September of 2020, and subsequently said that it intended to have Stobart Air sold by the end of February of 2021.

Spokesperson Statement

The Irish Independent quotes a spokesperson for Stobart Group, which formally passed a resolution to change the company's name to Esken this week, as saying "The strategy and guidance remain unchanged. The strategy is to exit Stobart Air, and the company said they would be disappointed if they hadn't successfully exited the business by the end of this financial year."
