One of Northern Ireland’s biggest trade events is due to open its doors tomorrow. IFEX – the premier show for the food, drink, retail and hospitality industries - will run until March 13.
According to its visitors, new products are the number one reason for visiting IFEX and this week, there’s set to be a record-number of new products and services from 100 plus exhibitors.
Long-standing show exhibitors have continued to support the event as well as many companies exhibiting for the first time at IFEX. Show stalwarts, including Stephens Catering Equipment Co, Lynas Foodservice, Masseys for Catering Equipment, Bunzl Rafferty, Henderson Foodservice, Golden Glen, B.D. Foods, Timepoint, Little Big Shot and Suki Tea will have an unmissable presence.
New names are a welcome addition to the show and attending for the first time are Morelli’s Ice-cream, Bewley’s, Brakes, Bailies Coffee Company, Nestle Professional, Niks Tea, Scomax, Rich Sauces, Solmatix and Trailblazer BBQ amongst others.
For many years, Henderson Foodservice has had an on-going presence at IFEX. This year, the company is hosting over 40 suppliers on its stand and well-known chef, Nigel Smyth, will be cooking up a variety of dishes over the three days. Commenting on the company’s plans for IFEX, Damien Barrett, Managing Director of Henderson Foodservice, says:

One of Ireland’s most trusted non-food catering suppliers to the hospitality and food industries, Bunzl McLaughlin will be launching its latest barware, cocktail equipment range and bar furniture.
New exhibitor to the event, Bewley’s, is looking forward to a great event. Sheila Dowling, Bewley’s National Sales Manager, adds: “Over the years Bewley’s have built up a reputation as “The Experts” and we are focused on building direct supply relationships with foodservice operators in Northern Ireland. There’ll be a lot happening on the Bewley’s stand as we want to showcase our expertise in coffee and tea blending through our range of award-winning products."
