Tourism Ireland Announces New Stakeholder Liaison Manager – Northern Ireland

Tourism Ireland has announced the appointment of Ciaran Doherty to the position of stakeholder liaison manager – Northern Ireland.

Doherty will take up the post immediately, working from Tourism Ireland’s office in Coleraine. He will work collaboratively with colleagues in Tourism Northern Ireland and other agencies to identify opportunities to further enhance the delivery of tourism from overseas and to grow overseas tourism to Northern Ireland.

Commenting on the appointment, Tourism Ireland’s director of corporate services, policy & Northern Ireland, Shane Clarke, said, "I am delighted to announce the appointment of Ciaran Doherty to this key strategic role in our organisation following an extensive external competition. He brings a wealth of marketing experience and a very strong track record of achievement to the role. He takes up this pivotal post of stakeholder liaison manager – Northern Ireland at an exciting and challenging time as we seek to build on the success of a number of record years for overseas tourism to Northern Ireland."
