Tourism Ireland Promotes Ireland's Golf Offering In Abu Dhabi

Tourism Ireland attended the HSBC Championship in Abu Dhabi last week to promote Ireland's golf offering.

One Of The DP World Tour's Biggest Competitions

Tourism Ireland stated that the HSBC Championship is one of the DP World Tour's biggest competitions, and attracts top players, thousands of spectators and international journalists each year, providing a platform to showcase golf holidays in Ireland.

Key Messages

Tourism Ireland's key messages at the event included major upcoming golf events such as the DDF Irish Open at Mount Juliet in the summer of 2022, the return of The Open to Royal Portrush in 2025 and the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in 2027.

Tourism Ireland's manager Asia and Middle East, Aisling McDermott, stated, "Our presence at this year's HSBC Championship in Abu Dhabi is an excellent opportunity to remind golfers that Ireland offers some of the very best golf in the world, as well as spectacular scenery and fantastic experiences.
