Tourism Ireland kicked off St Patrick’s Day celebrations in London with a pop-up green dance floor publicity stunt in South Bank.
Professional Irish dancers performed on the dance floor, and passers-by were invited to join in. It was a special kinetic dance floor, powered by the dancers’ footsteps.
The energy generated from the dance floor also powered a large screen that featured images of Ireland. Tourism Ireland’s aim was to bring a smile to the faces of Londoners and to convey the message that Ireland offers a warm welcome and great fun. Broadcast journalists and influencers were also invited to attend.
