Tourism Ireland Shares Second Film In Abbey Theatre Collaborative Series

Tourism Ireland has released the second short film in its new "theatrical postcard" series.

The organisation announced last week that it has teamed up with Dublin's Abbey Theatre to showcase the venue's new digital theatre experience, "Dear Ireland", which brings together the voices of 50 writers and 50 actors in a collection of "theatrical postcards" from Ireland, and that it was creating three short films with some of the actors and writers involved in the "Dear Ireland" project.

The first film in the series featured Sinéad Burke sharing insights into her play, These Four Walls.

Second Film Details

The newly-released second film features Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan, who shares insights into a piece she performed called Your Hands, which was written by John O'Donovan. She also speaks about her love for Derry and her Galway roots. The film features attractions such as the Ha'penny Bridge, the Spanish Arch, Eyre Square, Seamus Heaney HomePlace, the Peace Bridge, the Guildhall and the Derry Girls mural.

The film can be viewed below.
