Tourism Ireland Showcases Ireland At Britain & Ireland Marketplace

Forty-seven (47) tourism enterprises from Ireland joined Tourism Ireland, both in person and virtually, at the Britain & Ireland Marketplace (BIM).

Details

The in-person event took place last week, and the virtual event took place yesterday (1 February).

BIM is an annual B2B workshop that is organised by the European Tourism Association (ETOA) to showcase Britain and Ireland. This year’s event was attended by tour operators and travel buyers from around the world, and involved a series of pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments, with the companies from Ireland meeting and doing business with the international travel buyers who were in attendance.

Statement: Tourism Ireland’s Head Of Asia, Middle East And UK Inbound

Tourism Ireland’s head of Asia, Middle East and UK Inbound, David Boyce, stated, “We are really pleased to take part in BIM again this year. The format of the in-person and virtual one-to-one appointments provides a great opportunity for our partners to showcase Ireland to the important international travel buyers. Our message for those buyers – and that of our industry partners – is very simple: Ireland is open for business again, and we cannot wait to roll out the green carpet and welcome back visitors from around the world.”
