A golf TV show hosted by Paul McGinley and BBC presenter Chris Hollins called Golf's Greatest Holes began airing on 8 March on NBC's subscription service GolfPass. Filming took place at courses across Ireland in 2021 and was supported by Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland and Tourism NI. All six episodes of the show will be available to view on demand. Viewers will see McGinley and Hollins play some of Ireland's top golf courses, including Luttrellstown, Druids Glen, Carton House, Waterville, Adare Manor, Lahinch, Enniscrone, Ballyliffin, Rosapenna, Lough Erne, Ardglass, Royal Portrush, Portstewart, Royal County Down and Galgorm Castle.

The series first aired last autumn on Sky Sports in Britain and is set to air via 30 international broadcasters in more than 100 countries, over the next four years. It will reach a global TV audience of millions of golfers.

Statement By Tourism Ireland's Head Of North America

Tourism Ireland's head of North America Alison Metcalfe stated, "Tourism Ireland was delighted to support the production of Golf's Greatest Holes, hosted by Paul McGinley and Chris Hollins. With many people across the United States set to watch the series on NBC's GolfPass - and subsequently with a huge audience set to watch elsewhere around the world - it's a great way to shine a spotlight on our world-class golf. It will highlight the fact that Ireland offers golfers the complete package - with some of the very best golf in the world, stunning scenery and the warmest of welcomes. Our message is that Ireland is open for business again and we cannot wait to welcome back our American golf visitors."

Statement By McGinley

McGinley stated, "I'm so pleased Chris and I have had a chance to share our incredible golfing journey with an American audience. We had so much fun making the series, and while we managed to play at some of the most famous courses in the world, we were also lucky enough to visit some truly memorable golf holes slightly off the beaten track, that any American golfer should be sure to include on a future golf tour."
