Wild Atlantic Way Map May Be Redrawn For Donegal Towns

Fáilte Ireland are considering redrawing the Wild Atlantic Way map for Donegal following complaints from councillors about the inclusion of certain towns on the Inishowen peninsula over others.

Currently, Carndonagh and Buncrana are listed on Fáilte Ireland's map, but Donegal Sinn Féin Senator Pádraig Mac Lochlainn called for Moville and Greencastle to be included, while other councillors wanted Ballyliffin, Clonmany, Culdaff, Malin and Urris added to the map, reports DonegalNow.com.

Discussing the changes, Fáilte Ireland said: "We are currently working with our Digital team and the current map of the Wild Atlantic Way will be updated, taking into consideration consumer validation testing. Given the locations of both Greencastle and Moville, a visitor will invariably travel through these towns and villages, following the Wild Atlantic Way route."
