A Star Backpackers Plans To Develop New Dublin Hostel With Cinema

Dublin-based hostel group A Star Backpackers has revealed that a seven-storey hostel that it is planning to construct in Dublin city will include an in-house cinema, guest pods and tech-infused social hubs.

As reported by The Irish Independent, A Star Backpackers has lodged plans that involve the redevelopment of a number of buildings at Sackville Place and Marlborough Street off of the capital's O'Connell Street within the newly-developing Clerys quarter to create the proposed 95-bedroom hotel.

Employee Numbers And Current Portfolio

The proposed hostel is expected to increase the number of people that the group employs by over 100.

At present, A Star Backpackers employs 55 people and operates hostels on Dublin's Aston Quay, D'Olier Street and Lower Gardiner Street.
