Aghadoe Heights Expecting To Flourish in 2016

The five-star Aghadoe Heights in popular tourist town Killarney (pictured) is expecting a bumper year, after the hotel experienced strong sales in 2015.

Dalata, Ireland's largest hotel group and operators of the Aghadoe on behalf of the owners Aghadoe Hospitality Ltd., has reaped the benefits of the "hundreds of thousands" it has invested in the property.

Speaking about the hotel, Dalata chief executive Pat McCann told the Irish Independent: "2015 was a very strong year for the Aghadoe Heights. It was extremely good and we expect significant improvement on that in 2016.

The hotel features 74 bedrooms including 30 suites, two bars, a restaurant and a fitness centre. It was sold by hotelier Jerry O'Reilly for a cut-down price of €6 million in 2014.
