Co. Kildare's Carton House, a Fairmont managed hotel, has been listed among "the world's 42 best hotels in 2022" in The National Geographic Hotel Awards.

The list of hotel awards features 14 categories, with Carton House listed as a runner up in the "Grand Redesigns" category for "Best Major Refurbishment".
