CBRE Confirm Sale of Mount Wolseley Spa & Golf Resort

After recently putting Carlow's Mount Wolseley Spa & Golf Resort on the market for Tetrarch Capital with a guide price of €14.25 million in March, CBRE Hotels have confirmed that the property has been bought by Davy Real Estate on behalf of the Strategic Capital Investment Fund plc.

The fund is owned by a high net worth Austrian investor named Thomas Roggle, who also recently acquired Cavan's Farnham Estate, reports The Irish Independent.

It's understood that Tetrarch sold Mount Wolseley for a figure close to its €14.25 million guide price, with CBRE head of transactions John Hughes commenting that the resort "generated significant national and international interest."
