Tetrarch Discussing Potential Joint Venture Partnership With Starwood

Irish investment group Tetrarch Capital is currently engaged in discussions with US investor Starwood about the possibility of entering into a new joint venture partnership, which would be worth several hundred million euro and could potentially replace the former firm's plan for a public flotation.

Market sources informed The Irish Times that Tetrarch started working on alternatives to a public flotation before Christmas, leading to ongoing talks with Starwood.

Same Commercial Objectives

A partnership between Tetrarch and Starwood would have the same commercial objectives as an initial public offering (IPO), which had been mooted at €400 million. Such a partnership would allow early investors in Tetrarch to take cash off the table in an exit as well as supplying extra capital for future investment.
