Co. Antrim 'Landmark' Hotel Put Up For Sale

The Curran Court Hotel in Larne, Co Antrim, has been put up for sale with a guide price of £275,000 by Lisney estate agents.

Known as 'the gateway to the glens', the 33-bedroom hotel, which employs over 70 staff, first opened its doors in 1975 and is a 25-minute driveway from Belfast city centre.

The 0.36 acre property had previously received planning permission for the construction of an additional 20 two-bedroom apartments in 2014, reports Irishnews.com.

"With very few residential development sites currently available in Larne and, coupled with the town’s convenient proximity to Belfast and Carrickfergus, we believe that the property will only be on the market a short time. The Curran Court Hotel is one of Larne’s landmarks and, given its significant residential potential and the lack of other development opportunities in the area, we anticipate high levels of interest from a range of buyers," said Lynn Taylor of Lisney Belfast.
