Galgorm Resort In Co. Antrim Announces £3m Investment

The team behind Galgorm Resort, in Co. Antrim, has announced that it will invest £3 million (€3.5 million) to add new Forest Dens to its luxury accommodation collection.

Having already invested £60 million (€71 million) since 2010, Galgorm made a further £30 million (€34 million) investment in 2021, to expand and enhance its resort and spa facilities by 2027.

The new Forest Dens represent £3 million of that investment phase and are the first element of the Forest Garden at Galgorm.

‘More Exciting Developments’

“The introduction of the Forest Dens marks a unique addition to our accommodation portfolio, providing guests with an exceptional opportunity to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying the luxury and tranquillity that Galgorm is renowned for,” said Colin Johnston, managing director.

“With further substantial investments on the horizon, guests can look forward to even more exciting developments, including the expansion of our Thermal Spa Village next summer.”

The expansion to the Thermal Spa Village is due to follow in summer 2025, complete with forest walks, a wood-fired sauna, hot tubs, and a rope bridge connecting the Thermal Spa Village on both sides of the river.

The new Forest Dens are situated beyond the River Maine in the heart of Galgorm Wood, each one complete with a backyard.

Private Sauna

Guests will be invited to relax in their own private sauna, unwind with a wood-fired bath, and freshen up in the outdoor shower.

Other features include an indoor kitchenette, outdoor seating with heating, barbecue facilities, and a fire pit.

World Luxury Awards

Galgorm is set within 450 acres of parkland next to the River Maine, in Co. Antrim.

“This latest £3 million investment is a testament to our dedication to offering premium and authentic experiences to our guests.”
