Companies Behind The Key Collections Go Into Liquidation

14 companies behind Dublin-based accommodation group The Key Collections have gone into liquidation as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

According to The Irish Independent, John Healy of Kirby Healy Chartered Accountants has been nominated as the liquidator of 14 companies behind the group, the portfolio of which includes Dublin's Camden, Gate, Handels and Kildare Street hotels.

Income Collapse

It is understood by The Irish Independent that at least one of the 14 companies has a contract with the HSE to supply rooms for COVID-19-related self-isolation, but that the wider impact of the COVID-19 crisis has resulted in the collapse of the group's income.

Creditor meetings for the 14 companies will reportedly take place on June 30.
