Originally from Slovakia, Šturek began his hospitality journey at the InterContinental Hotel in Cyprus, where he worked for over six years as a waiter.

He then moved to Ireland, where he worked as head waiter at the Sheraton Hotel in Athlone, before working at the Downhill House Hotel, in Ballina.

‘Fresh Perspective’

‘More than just a manager, Matus is a visionary with ambitions to foster a familial and luxurious atmosphere within our team, enhancing the overall dining experience for our cherished guests,’ noted Conrad Dublin in a statement.

‘We are confident that Matus’s passion, dedication, and diverse experiences will bring a fresh perspective to our F&B operations, taking the Conrad Dublin experience to new heights.’
