Conrad Dublin has announced the promotion of Matúš Šturek to the role of food-and-beverage manager.

Šturek has been part of the team at Conrad Dublin since 2015.

Background

Originally from Slovakia, Šturek began his hospitality journey at the InterContinental Hotel in Cyprus, where he worked for over six years as a waiter.

He then moved to Ireland, where he worked as head waiter at the Sheraton Hotel in Athlone, before working at the Downhill House Hotel, in Ballina.

Earlier this month, Conrad Dublin secured the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award.

The Forbes Travel Guide is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas.

Its anonymous professional inspectors evaluate these premises based on hundreds of exacting standards, with an emphasis on exceptional service.
