Dublin's Citywest Hotel Anticipates Record Revenues This Year

Dublin's Citywest Hotel has revealed that it is currently on course to accumulate record revenues of almost €30 million this year.

According to The Irish Independent, a spokesperson for the business stated, "Year-to-date trading in 2019 is well ahead of last year and we expect to report record revenues close to €30 million for the year.

"2018 was another very strong year for the hotel, in which the operational improvements and further investment in facilities we've made have demonstrably paid off."

Accounts for Cape Wrath Ltd, the company that runs Citywest Hotel, indicate that the firm recorded a pre-tax profit of €279,420 last year, while the business's revenues rose by 2% to €28.82 million.

Meanwhile, Citywest Hotel took on more than 50 new staff members last year, bringing the total number of people employed by the venue to 383, and staff costs increased to €9.39 million.
