Dublin's Citywest Hotel Reports Rise In Profits

Dublin's 4-star Citywest Hotel has reported pre-tax profits of €1.55 million as it saw revenues increasing to €22.8 million for the year ending 2015.

Tetrarch Capital, the owners of the 764-bedroom hotel which recently underwent a €13 million upgrade, stated it is confident of producing double-digit revenue and a growth in profit for this year.

The hotel plans to host a number of large-scale corporate and leisure events and is seeking planning permission to be allowed to host concerts with the aim of increasing occupancy and having higher room rates for the year, reports FFT.ie.

"We’re extremely pleased with the strong trading performance across all departments at Citywest in 2015, which has demonstrated how, under a new ownership and management team, the hotel has been transformed," a spokesperson said.
