Dublin's Westin Hotel Adds 19 New Double Rooms

The Westin Hotel of Dublin's Westmoreland Street has increased its bedroom count with the addition of 19 new double rooms above the AIB bank that's located next door to the venue.

The creation of the rooms was part of a €5.5 million refurbishment and extension of The Westin, which also involved a revamp and expansion of the hotel's Atrium lounge.

The new bedrooms feature king-sized beds, 55-inch televisions, high-end bathroom facilities, soft furnishings and Irish art.

Presidential Suite Plans

The Westin's general manager, Eamonn Casey, told The Irish Times that the hotel now plans to develop a presidential suite above the neighbouring AIB bank, which will cost approximately €1 million.
