€3m Invested In Refurbishment Of Sligo Park Hotel

The Sligo Park Hotel is investing over €3 million in a redesign and refurbishment project.

According to The Irish Independent, much of the work has already been completed, with €2.25 million having been spent on refurbishing the venue's lobby, Jack B's Bar, Hazelwood Restaurant and Hazelwood and Mespil conference suites.

Ninety bedrooms have also been revamped as part of a three-year strategy at the hotel, which is located in Sligo town.

Significant Investment

Commenting on the refurbishment works, Sligo Park Hotel manager Gerard Moore said, "We have undertaken this significant investment to position the Sligo Park Hotel to take full advantage of increased interest in Sligo due to the highly successful marketing of the Wild Atlantic Way.

"We put in place a three-year strategy to refurbish the hotel including all guest bedrooms, lobby, bar, restaurant and conference rooms. Planned works for the year ahead include upgrading the health and leisure club and our main Sligo Park Suite, where we host weddings and events."
