Green Light Given To Expand Size Of Hotel Proposed For Former Clerys Site

Dublin City Council has given the green light to OCES Property Holdings to extend the size of the proposed hotel on the site of the former Clerys warehouse located on Earl Place in Dublin, at the back of the former Clerys department store building on O'Connell Street, by two floors to nine storeys.

The additional two storeys will increase the proposed four-star hotel's room count from 176 to 213.

"A Much More Economically Viable Hotel Size"

According to The Irish Times, consultants for OCES Property Holdings stated that the revised plans will allow for expanded restaurant facilities and will make for "a much more economically viable hotel size".
