InterContinental Dublin To Launch Italian Pop-Up Restaurant

The InterContinental Dublin has announced that executive chef Alberto Rossi will host an Italian pop-up restaurant offering guests and diners authentic Italian food and wine.

Rossi's @Seasons hopes to embody the spirit of Italian hospitality, blending "traditional charm with a refined ambiance."

With a number of Italian chefs employed by the hotel, guests and diners can expect an array of authentic dishes from Lombardia, Veneto, Campania, Sardinia and Lazio using all fresh Italian produce from the hotel’s suppliers.

Rossi, born in Milan to an Italian father and Irish mother, always wanted to be a chef and attended Vespucci College in the city and then went on to do his apprenticeship in various local restaurants.

He moved to Ireland in 2002 to work with the team at the then Four Seasons Hotel and was appointed executive chef at InterContinental Dublin in 2014.

The Italian chef frequently appears on Ireland Am’s cookery slot on Virgin Media One.

Special Menu

Opening on the 7th of September there will be one menu for the first two weeks and then a second menu for the following two weeks showcasing an array of Antipasti, Risotto and Pastas, Secondi Piatti (main courses), and also Primi Tavolo and Secondo Tavolo (sharing starters and main courses).

The pop-up restaurant will also feature a slicing station where guests can enjoy the authentic Italian cucina feel and choose Italian meats and cheeses.

Italian Cocktails

A selection of Italian cocktails including Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Mimosa, Limoncello Spritz, and ‘The Godfather’ will be available to order pre and post-dinner, along with Amaro and Grappa.

There will also be a selection of Italian wines including Barbera D’Alba, Barolo, Nero D’Avola and Grillo.

Rossi's @Seasons will be open from the 7th until the 30th of September, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6pm to 9.30pm.
