Ireland’s Largest Hotel Operator Opens London Hotel

Dalata Hotel Group has announced the official opening of its first Maldron Hotel in London.

The Four Star Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park is the group’s 53rd hotel in the UK, Ireland and Continental Europe and the first of five new Maldron Hotels set to open across the UK in the next 12 months.

'Ideal Location'

“Following a successful partial opening in July we are now up to full capacity and looking forward to welcoming even more guests," said Kirsty Monington, Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park general manager.

“Located on Seven Sisters Road and just a one-minute walk from the tube station, providing direct access to the Victoria Line, Piccadilly Line and Thameslink and within easy reach of Euston Station, Kings Cross Station & St. Pancras International, guests are in an ideal location for accessing London and the cities top attractions."

50 New Jobs

The 191-bedroom hotel has a contemporary ground floor lobby with a dining and bar area, and a fitness suite. It features the brand’s Grain & Grill, which serves a selection of dishes, and a Red Bean Roastery coffee dock serving barista prepared coffee.

Fifty new jobs have been created as a result of the opening.

Dalata Hotel Group said it also has plans to open further Maldron Hotels in prime locations including Shoreditch in South Central London, Brighton, Liverpool as well as adding a second Maldron Hotel in Manchester.

'Expansion Mode'

“Earlier in the summer, Dalata Hotel Group also opened the Clayton Hotel London Wall which underlines our determination to grow our presence in London," said Dermot Crowley, Dalata Hotel Group CEO.

“Elsewhere the company is in expansion mode with an exciting pipeline in prime locations throughout the UK, Ireland & Continental Europe having recently acquired a landmark hotel in Amsterdam.”
