Limerick's Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel Undergoing €1m Refurbishment

Family-owned Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, Co Limerick, is undergoing an 18-month €1 million refurbishment programme.

The four-star hotel, a popular venue for weddings, recently unveiled a new-look ballroom and two new bridal suites as part of the refurbishment, reports FFT.ie. Its ballroom now has a new ceiling; crystal chandeliers; pillars; and mirrored walls. Future work will include an extension to its existing ballroom and an outdoor space for hosting ceremonies in the summer and is to be carried out in the winter.

Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel has 94 bedrooms and is located on 44 acres of private Golden Vale countryside with facilities such as a leisure club with pool and gym, a spa boasting 18 treatment rooms as well as an outdoor-heated rock pool.

It is the second €1 million refurbishment that the hotel has undergone over the last couple of years, the previous one resulting in the hotel winning a fourth star.
