Following the withdrawal of an appeal to An Bord Pleanála, Dublin property group Marlet has commenced work on a new hotel and aparthotel development on Upper Abbey Street and Great Strand Street of Dublin.
The hotel part of the development will feature 239 bedrooms and have an entrance on Abbey Street, while the aparthotel will include 256 beds and front onto Great Strand Street, according to The Times.
In Talks With Potential Operators
Marlet is in advanced talks with several operators about running the properties. One of the parties interested in operating the aparthotel is understood to be Staycity.
It is expected that the development's construction will be completed in the latter half of 2021.
