Merrion Hall Sold To Prem Group

Hotel management company, Prem Group, have purchased Merrion Hall in Ballbridge, Dublin4. It has led a small group of investors in buying the hotel and plans to open its indoor the Premiere Suites brand July 2014.

It is reported that the total investment on completion will be over €5 million. It also intends to launch an EIIS cheme for the hotel in the second half of 2014.

Announcing the acquisition, Jim Murphy, Group Managing Director, PREM Group said, "With its close proximity to the RDS and its easy access to Dublin city centre and the Docklands, we expect Merrion Hall to appeal to business travelers and tourists alike."

Merrion Hall brings the number of hotels and serviced apartments managed and operated by Prem Group to 37.

Its current portfolio spans Ireland, the UK, Belgium, Germany, France and Poland and the group is exploring other opportunities for expansion in Ireland and across Northern Europe in 2014.
