New Hotel Developed At Denis O'Brien's Spanish Golf Resort

Billionaire Denis O'Brien has increased his investment at Spain's PGA Catalunya Resort to approximately €120 million with the development of a second €6.5 million hotel at the property.

According to The Irish Times, the so-called Lavida Hotel is aimed at golf enthusiasts and tourists, adding 50 new golf course view bedrooms to the resort, which already features two 18-hole golf courses, the 145-bedroom Hotel Camiral and 250 apartments as well as an assortment of townhouses and villas.

O'Brien also owns the Quinta do Lago golf resort in Portugal.
