New Pre-Tax Profit Figures Revealed For Dublin's Fitzwilliam And Mespil Hotels

Accounts for Ampleforth, the parent company of Dublin's Fitzwilliam Hotel, have revealed that the firm's pre-tax profits came to €4.3 million last year while turnover increased 9.6% to €16.5 million.

Meanwhile, the Irish capital's Mespil Hotel has revealed that its pre-tax profit came to €3.3 million during the year that ended on September 30, 2018, while its revenue rose 8.4% to €11.6 million.

Administrative costs increased 12% to €7.1 million at the company behind the Mespil during the last financial year. The Irish Independent quotes the company's directors as saying that this reflected "the increased costs in offering an enhanced customer experience".
