Potential Hotel Site On Dublin's James Street Hits The Market

A 0.066 acre site on Dublin's James Street that could be the location of a new hotel has hit the market via QRE Real Estate Advisers with a guide price of €1.5 million.

Planning Application

According to The Irish Times, the vendor of the site at 134 James Street has applied to Dublin City Council for planning permission to conserve, refurbish, redevelop and change the use of the building on the site to create a 20-bedroom hotel.

Potential New Six-Storey Building

If the plans are approved, the purchaser of the site would have permission to demolish the existing two-storey building to the rear and replace it with a six-storey building over lower-ground floor annex that could also include a rooftop café and two glazed link bridges over two floors to 134 James Street.
