Pre-Tax Profits Rise At Galway's Glenlo Abbey Hotel

New accounts filed by Baswal Ltd have revealed that pre-tax profits at Galway's Glenlo Abbey hotel more than doubled to €529,661 in 2017.

According to The Irish Times, the hotel's rise in profits came on the back of a 10% increase in sales to €5.36 million.

A Strategy That Has Delivered Growth

Glenlo Abbey hotel general manager Ronan O'Halloran commented that the venue's strategy of continuous investment in recent years "has allowed [its operators] to reposition [their] business model into the higher end luxury segment" and said, "This strategy has delivered growth both in terms of occupancy and average room rate."
